HCF Troubleshooting

First, identify the firmware/driver version you are currently using. You determine the firmware by viewing the results of the ATi3 command to the modem. You can use HyperTerminal or the diagnostics tab of the Modem Properties from Control Panel->Modems. If your firmware/driver is below .135, you may want to upgrade (see next section). You should also follow my Troubleshooting Procedure calling many ISP/servers. An additional HCF Troubleshooting Page is available. You may also want to see the other troubleshooting resources on this site.
